Working with multiple computers

From Director Online Wiki

One method of working with multiple computers is to use hardware to switch between video sources and input devices.

Another increasingly popular method is to use remote access software. If your main work station is a mac and you need access to a pc on your network, you might consider Microsofts Remote Desktop Connection client [[1] (http://www.microsoft.com/mac/otherproducts/otherproducts.aspx?pid=remotedesktopclient)] (free). The pc must be running Terminal Services or Remote Desktop Services and you must have permissions to access it. Other solutions include [Timbuktu (http://www.timbuktupro.com)] (commercial) and [Chicken of the VNC (http://sourceforge.net/projects/cotvnc/)] (open source).
