i tried to purchase the OS Xtra for my Director MX2004 Version! but the web Site say (The OSControl Xtra is no longer for sale, sorry. )!! Why?

James Newton may happen upon this question and perhaps be able to provide an answer. But I would guess that there just isn't a significant market for it anymore, since it isn't supported under D11. Anyone who uses pre-D11 versions that needs it probably already has it. Since there is no plan to rewrite it to make it D11 compatible, its basically a dead product.

I love Director, but this has long been one of my rants, that it didn't come with this. Authorware did, but that is a dead product as well.

If they don't plan to sell it any more, and don't plan to update it, I wonder if they would consider making it free and/or open source?

yes! This Question also fly in my Mind!, if the Xtra is Dead why its not free?
